Title I Annual Performance
Student performance on these tasks is categorized into three categories; partially proficient (below grade level), proficient (on grade level) and advanced (above grade level). The end of the year data for the 2011-12 school year in the Allegheny Valley School District indicated that the following percent of Title I students performed at the designated proficiency level.

Language Arts
Following the RtII (Response to Instruction and Intervention) format, students are pulled out for additional research-based intervention when assessment results indicate a need to do so. This year, 95 students were pulled out to receive reading service at Acmetonia and Colfax. This is 18% of the total elementary population.

Mathematics
A total of 91 students were pulled out to receive math support at Acmetonia and Colfax out of a total of 531 students. Title I math pull-out instruction was delivered to 17% of the elementary student population
